Is Buying A Designer Handbag Wasting Money?

By Lee MacRae

Many women today desire to emit a fashion statement to the world around them. And one of the ways to finish off a fashionable ensemble is a designer handbag by Cole Haan or L.A.P.A.. But many people are concerned about the amount of money, they may have to pay. Are they worth the money?

For most people, of course, they want to make sure their hard earned money is used wisely. They want to know if a purse by Hobo is worth the money. Is going to last? Well, the answer is yes. Why?

Because designer handbag are usually made from the finest materials. A leather purse or bag made by Alan Stuart or Longaberger will use top grade leather that is beautiful, supple and will last a long time. So, While you may be paying for the name of the label, you'll also be buying a top quality product. And how can you be definitely sure?

Want a hint to know what you're getting? Top designer handbags will always have a fine lining material inside. The cheaper products will not have that. Makers of cheap products are always looking to lower the costs. As a result, you will find cheaper linings and even cheaper hardware. They will wear out and fall apart in no time. Full-grain leather is made from the finest natural hides with no imperfections. These top grain leather's are extremely durable. It is long-lasting and over time, develops a rich patina that increases natural beauty. Full-grained handbags are often made from the skins of young cattle and are highly sought after due to their fine quality and smooth texture.

To sum up, even though a handbag by Weimaraner or Brahmin ,may seem expensive, what you are buying is a product that is top-notch and it will be with you for a lifetime if you desire. If you want the bang for your buck, buy a designer handbag

New recruit reporting in!

Tue, 10 Feb 2004 17:10:00 GMT

Hello everyone. This is my first dotNetJunkie.com blog entry! My name is Jean-Philippe Couture, and I am a senior student at a local college. Born and raised in snowy land near Quebec City, Canada. I am studying software engineering, working almost exclusively with the Microsoft .NET platform for the last year or so. I am planning to get my Microsoft developer certifications (MCAD, MCSD) before the end of spring 2004.

Before picking up Microsoft .NET, I was an old-school *NIX-based developer that would stay as far away as possible from a Microsoft product. Oh, I once did a very small incursion into the early Java world, which left me with a bad taste in the mouth. I have to admit, that ever since I made the big switch to the Microsoft .NET development framework, I am more and more pleased with Microsoft products.

I am working with a small development team at school to complete our final project, which is going to be using almost every current aspects of what the framework as to offer. I say current, because we don't have access yet to any next-generation technology (ie: Whidbey, Avalon, Indigo, WinFS, Yukon, etc). We are on a somewhat tight schedule, but I am fairly confident in the tools we are using to get the job done on time, and have a great product release by May 2004.

I am looking forward joining this exciting community, as I have been an avid reader for the past 6 months. By the way, I want to thank Donny Mack for hooking me up with this blog. ;-)
